2017 The First Seeds — Memories of the Banyan Trees, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts
TAIA's production The First Seeds—Memories of the Banyan Trees is a large-scale architectural video mapping show created for the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts in 2017. Performed 15 times over five days, it attracted more than 250,000 audience members and visitors, setting a new attendance record for outdoor public art.
The First Seeds not only wove the culture and history of Weiwuying into the video mapping, but also combined live performers with the projections. TAIA successfully created a local culture video mapping theater piece that provoked a strong sense of emotional resonance among the audience.
